we're excited to welcome new contributors in screenpipe. as we mentioned earlier we redirect all our revenue towards product development. right now we have over $6k worth of bounties posted on github issues, contributors either work on existing issues or create standalone apps on top of screenpipe. this allows them to get a one-off bounty and plus get a cut from revenue that this app generates when it's purchased through the pipe store

your screen contains all the information for AI to use, and we wanted to make it easy for you to see what AI is doing in the background, send you summaries, confirmations, or anything else

at the moment you will receive such messages when using pipes like reddit, linear, or other ones. above is the reddit pipe which helps you get more followers, share your content, be helpful, or anything else, by suggesting posts on relevant subreddit based on your screen and audio recordings.

we've refactored how pipes work internally, you can now use dependencies, run servers, etc., look at this beautiful vercel/ai powered pipe you can send messages to the AI inbox using pipe.inbox.send in pipes (markdown supported) as always, we're looking for more feedback, build a pipe, make $100

⭐️ agent that controls your laptop to work for you

take a look at a new beta app that is built on top of screenpipe. in this example, agent is logging into my gmail account, finding invoices from x, downloading them, renaming the files according to the proper structure (invoice-supplier-date), and then uploading the invoice to the correct folder in my dropbox. you can automate any repetitive workflow

• experimental: we made a pipe for sales people that continuously build an ICP (ideal customer profile) and suggest you new customers, found on the internet
• experimental: we made a pipe that comment on relevant tasks on Linear based on your work
• @onyedikachi-david contributed screen time storyteller is a pipe that publish stories based on your screen on github gist
• @cparish312 contributed a pipe that sends you daily recommendations found on the internet, based on your screen activity
• linux wayland support: we're looking for someone to confirm it works before merging (and rewarding $300 to @FractalFir ♥️), would love any help 🙏
• @TanGentleman created a python client!
• macos only: we provide an AI that runs on your computer by default now (llama3.2, etc.), $100 bounty to make it work on windows & linux
• fix: the new pipe api will fix the previously experienced crash on pipes
