hey louis & matt here
btw, in this newsletter, we share new features, bug fixes, work in progress, and what's next.
π° big news
we reduced the price for windows to $180! π₯³
we've built a ton of things lately, mostly features around data quality and way to query and interact with search results, check it out:
β² timeline ui
many of you asked for this feature so we built it!
think of this as a rewind AI x Cursor (the most popular AI code editor) feature: you can quickly use AI over your timeline for instant recall, meeting summaries, and more
how it works: instead of searching for a specific keyword, you just select a period on a timeline progress bar as a 'context' for AI and follow up with any question (e.g. summarize the project i was working on during that time)
to use it:
- turn on timeline settings
- click "restart and update" button
- click "show timeline"
ps: we will make it a shortcut in the coming days, make it less resource intensive, add app icons, audio playback with captions, etc.
π§π»βπ» UI search (100% quality)
search text directly from the source code of any app, providing 100% accuracy compared to the less accurate, often duplicated OCR search (it's based on the ui traversal process that gathers data from the desktop source code)

- community: sync OMI Friend wearable data through bluetooth in rust

- switched to bun for pipes instead of deno
π coming soon
- h.265 support ffmpeg (lower storage usage)
- official brew
- data archive
- memories
- Gumloop & Zapier integration (no code automations based on your screen & mic data)
