turns out that businesses need screenpipe. we had a busy week delivering a custom integration to our b2b customer and talking to a few other companies that reached out to us. what are the use cases?

keep track of internal communication: store data on employee computers and on a central server
overlap data across the team to create a knowledge base: a passive way to capture everything happening within the company and map it over internal tools like CRM systems, knowledge graphs, wikis, documentation, contact lists
capture how the work is done, identify critical repetitive workflows within the company to reduce duplicate efforts and enable automation

these use cases target significant savings for companies. teams can spend less time coordinating tasks, employees don't have to manually fill out CRM systems and daily logs, time saved because of easily accessible information, deduplication of effort leads to at least 10% of saved costs across the headcount.

🔮 vision

as AI models advance at reasoning and multi-modal capabilities, we see a growing need for desktop-native LLM applications. practically any work performed on the desktop can be performed by LLM. But only if it has relevant context.

screenpipe is the missing layer in the AI LLM stack to provide this context. it's an infra layer to feed desktop activity to LLM context window creating a memory bank.

we aim to become a go-to backend for your desktop LLM workflows, an API to the desktop, a knowledge base, a platform to deploy and supervise AI agents.
